GEN Bargen Competition 60g Lemon Energy Bar

The barGen is an energy bar that provides the perfect amount of calories and is particularly suited to cycling. It is made from oats, a cereal that provides a slow release of carbohydrates, ideal for endurance activities. It has an optimal vitamin content, including vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6. In terms of minerals, it contains sodium, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, iron and sulphur to compensate for losses associated with physical activity. It should be noted that the Gen bar also contains 6 of the 8 amino acids that are essential for the body to function properly. We had the opportunity to test this new bar on the bike. The lemon flavour is noticeable but not too pronounced, making the bar easy to digest and pleasant to eat, whatever the ambient temperature. Accompanied by a coffee, it's the perfect pre-race snack! Recommendation: during exercise, consume 1 bar for every 3 to 4 hours of effort. You can have a Gen bar before exercise if it lasts more than 3 hours. When recovering from a long session of more than 3 hours, you can consume a whole bar.
