PowerBar Energize Original Chocolate Energy Bar 55g

This chocolate-flavoured drink was the first in the range when the brand was launched. A legend at PowerBar, it remains a firm favourite with runners.  It provides two sources of carbohydrates to remain true to its C2Max concept. To support muscle performance, magnesium and sodium have been added. The aim is to minimise losses associated with sporting activity, particularly in summer or during periods of intense exertion.

Based on our experience with this product, we recommend using it during endurance events or 30 minutes before the start of a fast-paced race where nutrition may be difficult to manage. It is also a product we favour for starting a training session with a good energy reserve.

Ingredients:

Chocolate flavour: Fructose-glucose syrup, puffed rice (rice semolina, sugar, wheat gluten, palm fat, barley malt flour, salt), rice flour, milk proteins, oat bran (8%), maltodextrin, non-fat cocoa powder (4%), oat flakes (4%), almond paste, cocoa mass (2%), flavouring, sodium citrate, fructose, humectant (glycerol), salt, magnesium carbonate.

May contain: peanuts, hazelnuts, soya.

Directions for use:

1–4 bars per day. 1 bar with a drink in the hour leading up to exercise and/or during exercise at regular intervals. The bar can be eaten in several portions if required.
