Maurten Gel 100 Caf 100 is based on Maurten's unique hydrogel technology. It is liquid and gels thanks to the acidity of the stomach. This allows food to be transported gently to the intestine where nutrients are absorbed. This technology limits gastric problems. The taste is neutral, slightly bitter and slightly sweet. This gel contains 100mg of caffeine, the equivalent of 1.5 espressos or a cup of ground coffee. Compared to the vast majority of gels available on the market, this product is highly concentrated in caffeine. Why caffeine? Caffeine has been proven to improve alertness and attention and reduce the body's perception of exertion. According to numerous studies, the body can absorb 100mg of carbohydrates per hour during exercise. Developed according to the scientific ratio of fructose/glucose (0.8:1), this gel contains 25 grams of carbohydrates. This gel provides a high energy ratio and contains no artificial flavours or preservatives. Like all other Maurten products, it is suitable for vegans.
