Maurten Gel 100 Caf 100 is based on the brand’s proprietary hydrogel technology Maurten. It starts out as a liquid but gels when it comes into contact with the stomach’s acidity. This allows food to be gently transported to the intestine, where the nutrients are absorbed. This technology helps to minimise stomach problems. It has a neutral taste, with a slight bitterness and a hint of sweetness.

This gel contains 100mg of caffeine, equivalent to 1.5 espressos or a cup of ground coffee. Compared to the vast majority of gels available on the market, this product has a very high caffeine concentration. Why caffeine? Caffeine has been proven to improve alertness and concentration, and to reduce the body’s perception of exertion.

According to numerous studies, the body can absorb 100mg of carbohydrates per hour during exercise. Developed using the scientifically proven fructose-to-glucose ratio (0.8:1), this gel contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.

Maurten ’s Gel 100 Caf 100 can be taken on its own or combined with other Maurten products to ensure you have enough energy during your competition or training session.
