DI2 lever, hydraulic braking, Flat Mount caliper
Notre avis
The Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 braking system features new ergonomics and, above all, a wireless transmission system. The caliper is thinner, lighter and stiffer. It also dissipates heat better.
A former racer with a keen eye for equipment
The Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 braking system has evolved significantly. You now have a wireless drivetrain and 12 speeds. You can also manage and customise your drivetrain and its ergonomics via the E-Tube app. Furthermore, the lever can be made more accessible with reach adjustment, whilst the travel is slightly longer to improve braking feel and modulation.
The rear caliper is slimmer and more compact. It integrates better with the rear dropout. It is a single-piece design to improve lightness, stiffness and heat dissipation.
Technical specifications:
- Flat Mount standard mounting
- BR-R9270 rear brake caliper
- Shimano ST-R9270 right-hand lever
- Compatible with 140mm or 160mm discs with optional adapter
- Compatible with mineral brake fluid only

Published Jul 07, 2025 at 09:58 pmSuper lever, very easy to set up with the e-tube app on smartphone. However, I forgot the Dura Ace derailleurs in my order, I trusted the store's stock and came to pick them up in Grenoble where they were indicated as in stock, except that they were not physically there. In stock in Grenoble means it should actually be in stock, otherwise it's not in stock sorry ... 45 minutes by car to come pick one up for nothing on Saturday, July 12 (order picked up Friday 11 and checked after store closing, couldn't call beforehand, I trusted the site's information) (Translated review)
