The Dura-Ace Di2 FD-R9250 front derailleur (Shimano, ref. IFDR9250F) represents the pinnacle of electronic road drivetrains. Developed for Dura-Ace Di2 2x12-speed groupsets, this front derailleur combines exceptionally fast chainring changes, a feather-light weight of just 96 g and a more compact design that enhances aerodynamics. Shimano It delivers chainring changes up to 45 per cent faster than the previous generation, offering instant responsiveness, even during full acceleration or on climbs.
Its optimised design reduces the frontal area by 33 per cent, minimising aerodynamic drag whilst improving integration on high-performance road bikes. Compatible with chainrings from 46 to 54 teeth and Shimano HG 12-speed chains, it ensures precise, quiet and consistent gear changes whatever the conditions.
Connected to the Di2 system via the EW-SD300 cable, the FD-R9250 also benefits from the customisation options offered by the Shimano E-TUBE PROJECT app, allowing you to adjust the shifting behaviour to suit your preferences.
