Over time and with use, the axle on your Shimano pedals may wear out. This kit allows for quick replacement to restore them to like-new condition.

Technical expert

This set of right and left axles allows you to quickly and easily replace a worn axle and its bearings. Simply unscrew the existing axle and fit the new one. Please note that there is a right-hand and a left-hand axle.

The axle on the Shimano PD-R8000 road pedals can be removed and replaced very easily. A single 17mm Allen key is all you need to complete the job in 2 minutes (1 minute per pedal).

Once the new axle is fitted, the pedal is ready to ride and is as good as new in terms of bearings.
