Smaller, more compact but just as powerful. The Shimano Ultegra R8150 front derailleur is incredibly efficient. It connects directly to the battery and features wireless transmission with ST-8170 hydraulic levers.

The Shimano Ultegra R8150 front derailleur retains the strengths of the 8050 version: its precision, power and reliability. It is now more compact, leaving more space around the crankset and frame. It can operate wirelessly with the ST-8170 hydraulic brake levers or via a cable if you are using the ST-8150 rim brake version. Shimano has developed a dedicated communication protocol in addition to ANT+ and Bluetooth to reduce power consumption.

This front derailleur is compatible with the Shimano E-Tube app for customising and updating components. You can also use this app to customise the ergonomics of your groupset. The R8100 components are also compatible with the 12-speed Dura-Ace R9200 range.
