The Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo 2027Berria is a full-suspension electric mountain bike designed for enthusiasts of mountain biking, trail riding and challenging rides. Its 6061 hydroformed aluminium frame, All Mountain geometry and Y-LINK suspension system provide a platform that is stable, versatile and high-performing on technical terrain.

At the heart of this high-end e-MTB lies the powerful Avinox M2 motor, paired with an 800 Wh battery. The setup is completed by a 160 mmRockShox Psylo Silver RC fork, a 150 mm RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock, 29-inch Mavic E-Access XR30 wheels and a 12-speedSRAM Eagle 70 T-Type drivetrain.

Avinox M2 motor: power and intelligent assistance

The Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo is powered by the Avinox M2 motor, capable of delivering up to 125 Nm of torque and 1,100 W in Boost mode. This motor provides particularly generous assistance on steep climbs and technical sections where the available torque makes all the difference.

The Avinox M2 is paired with a 2-inch Avinox DPC100 Flat colour display, equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy, a USB-C connection and Apple Find My compatibility.

This combination allows the Nexxen to retain the handling characteristics of a sporty mountain bike whilst offering a substantial power reserve when the terrain becomes challenging.

Avinox 800 Wh battery

To complement the Avinox motor, Berria has fitted the Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo with an integrated 800 Wh, 36 V Avinox battery.

This generous capacity is particularly useful for long mountain rides, routes with significant elevation gain, or tours where you want to have a substantial energy reserve.

The bike comes with a 12 A Avinox fast charger, reducing the time needed between rides.

Aluminium frame and Y-LINK suspension

The frame of the Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo is made from 6061 hydroformed aluminium, with a design tailored for all-mountain use. Its Y-LINK suspension system offers 150 mm of rear travel.

The frame’s modern geometry prioritises stability on descents and control over rough terrain. The 64.5° head angle, combined with 456 mm chainstays, helps give the bike a solid feel as speed increases.

The frame also features a fully integrated ICS2 cable routing system, a UDH derailleur hanger and a Boost 12 x 148 mm rear axle.

RockShox Psylo: 160 mm at the front

At the front, the Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo is fitted with a Psylo Silver RCRockShox with 160 mm of travel.

Its 15 x 110 mm axle, 35 mm stanchion and Solo Air spring are suited to the demands of an All-Mountain e-MTB. Combined with 150 mm of rear travel, this setup provides a well-balanced package for absorbing bumps and maintaining control on technical sections.

Rear suspension is provided by a 210 x 55 mm Deluxe Select+RockShox , featuring DebonAir Linear technology and 150 mm of travel.

29-inch wheels and tyres up to 2.40 inches

The Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo Berria is fitted to 29-inch E-Access XR30 wheels fromMavic Tubeless Ready , with an internal width of 30 mm.

The frame accommodates tyres up to 29 x 2.40 inches, prioritising grip and stability on rough terrain.

The 29-inch wheel size, combined with the All Mountain geometry, also helps riders clear obstacles more easily and maintain speed on technical sections.

SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type 12-speed drivetrain

The drivetrain features a SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type 12-speed system, with a 10–52-tooth cassette.

This wide gear range provides a low gear suitable for steep climbs whilst retaining sufficient gear ratios for fast-rolling sections.

The FSA CK-320/IS Avinox aluminium crankset is fitted with 160 mm cranks.

SRAM DB8 four-piston brakes

To control the motor’s power and the bike’s behaviour on descents, the Nexxen Essential E70 Psylo is fitted with SRAM DB8 four-piston brakes.

This configuration is particularly well-suited to an e-MTB designed for mountainous terrain, where repeated braking and steep gradients require a powerful and durable braking system.

A 150 mm dropper seatpost

The bike features a 150 mm TranzX dropper seatpost, allowing the saddle to be lowered quickly from the handlebars.
