Shimano ’s Deore BR-M6220 rear hydraulic disc brake kit is designed to deliver powerful, progressive and perfectly controlled braking on the most demanding trails. Thanks to its 4-piston caliper, it delivers high braking power whilst ensuring excellent modulation, making it ideal for trail riding, enduro or e-MTBs.
SERVO WAVE technology reduces lever dead travel to ensure rapid contact with the disc and improved braking modulation. Shimano also equips this brake with its new low-viscosity mineral oil, combined with optimised piston seals and heat-resistant resin pistons, ensuring consistent performance regardless of temperature or during long descents. The two-piece construction enhances the rigidity of the unit to improve braking precision. Compatible with resin or non-finned metal brake pads, this kit is supplied pre-bled with a 1700 mm hose, ideal for rear-wheel fitting. Its I-SPEC EV-compatible lever facilitates the integration of Shimano controls and helps create a clean, ergonomic cockpit.
