The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8200 GS 12-speed is a top-of-the-range MTB rear derailleur designed for riders looking for a compact, lightweight and high-performance drivetrain. 

This GS medium-cage version has been specially developed to work with the new Shimano HYPERGLIDE+ 9–45-tooth cassettes, offering a gear range of 500 per cent whilst significantly improving ground clearance. With a 23 mm gain over a conventional setup, this derailleur reduces the risk of impacts on technical terrain and encourages a more aggressive riding style. It incorporates the new SHADOW ES technology, an evolution of the renowned ‘ Shimano ’ system, offering a more robust structure, improved chain stabilisation and enhanced durability. Its bevelled design helps absorb impacts from rocks or roots, whilst its protected solid pulleys minimise the build-up of mud and debris to ensure smooth operation in all conditions.
