The Falcn Essential follows in the footsteps of the Falcn RS, inheriting its key strengths. It retains a performance-oriented geometry, clearance for tyres up to 34 mm, a diffuser fork and a universal derailleur hanger (UDH).

This geometry has been meticulously developed by Ridley’s engineers to offer an optimal balance between speed, stability and responsiveness. Compared to the Noah Fast and the Helium SLX, the head tube is shorter, allowing for a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket, meanwhile, is positioned lower to accommodate wider tyres, ensuring maximum control of the bike, even in the most demanding conditions.

The main differences lie in the use of a round seatpost (instead of a D-shaped post on the Falcn RS) and a specific carbon composition. Despite this, the Falcn Essential frame weighs a mere 990 grams, ensuring lightness without compromising on performance.
