The Falcn Essential follows in the footsteps of the Falcn RS, from which it takes on the major strengths. It retains a performance-oriented geometry, clearance for tyres up to 34mm, a diffuser fork and a universal derailleur (UDH).

This geometry has been meticulously developed by Ridley engineers to offer an optimum balance between speed, stability and responsiveness. Compared to the Noah Fast and Helium SLX, the head tube is shorter, allowing for a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket, meanwhile, is positioned lower to accommodate wider tyres, ensuring maximum control of the bike, even in the most demanding conditions.

The main differences lie in the use of a round seatpost (instead of a D-post on the Falcn RS) and a specific carbon composition. Despite these differences, the Falcn's frame weighs in at a featherweight 990 grams, a guarantee of lightness without compromising performance.
