The rim diameter and 22mm internal width allow you to fit wider tubeless tyres. This will give you a more comfortable, safer ride, as well as better rolling resistance on rough roads.

In terms of wheel design, we find a 30mm rim height featuring Aero+ technology. This DT Swiss technology aims to offer aerodynamic performance regardless of the wheel material, so you don't necessarily need carbon to boost your bike's aerodynamics.
It is with this in mind that DT aero comp straightpull spokes are used on these wheels. Hand-built, they have been redesigned to offer additional aerodynamic performance. They are also lighter, stronger and offer excellent stability. The DT Swiss 350 hub has also been updated, offering significant weight savings and excellent reliability. Coupled with its Ratchet System 36 SL (for "super light") freehub body, you will enjoy improved pedalling smoothness thanks to its 36-tooth ratchet ring. It is also very practical as it can be assembled and disassembled without the need for tools.
