A cake that can be prepared very quickly for immediate energy. It is often a concern to eat early in the morning for a competition or when your race has two stages (morning and afternoon). With this cake, the solution is obvious. You can eat it up to 1 hour before the start. It gives you the energy you need to cope with a fast start in the first hour. What if you don't eat the whole cake? You can freeze it and eat it later.
