Garmin Edge 1060 GPS cycle computer

The Edge 1060 Garmin is the brand’s new premium cycle computer, designed for discerning cyclists who want to keep their hands on the handlebars at all times. Thanks to its built-in microphone and speaker, simply say “OK, Garmin ” to view your stats in real time, start a route, find a point of interest (café, toilets, etc.), report a hazard or send and receive voice messages via the Garmin Messenger app. The seven additional physical buttons make it easy to use whilst wearing gloves or in bad weather, whilst the bright touchscreen clearly displays all the essential information.

This Edge 1060 Garmin has the same screen as an Edge 1050 but in a much smaller casing, which should appeal to cyclists who couldn’t quite decide between a small, performance-focused model and a highly legible but heavier, bulkier one. This GPS cycle computer is fitted with a high-quality 3.5-inch colour LCD touchscreen. It offers a battery life of 20 hours during intensive use and 60 hours in power-saving mode.

When it comes to navigation and training, the Edge 1060 Garmin stands out thanks to its new route options (choices based on duration, elevation gain and bike type), route previews with alerts for road closures and hazards reported by the community, Free Flow Routing to minimise stops, and advanced performance tools (real-time stamina, Power Guide, personalised ‘ Garmin ’ coaching, TrainingPeaks synchronisation). Enhanced GroupRide features, incident detection, USB-C reverse charging and full compatibility with ANT+/Bluetooth sensors (power, heart rate, Varia, electronic groupsets, etc.) make it a comprehensive companion for improving your performance and riding safely.
