Give your Garmin bike computer a new lease of life
Have you broken one (or both) of the mounts on your Garmin cycle computer and can't find a solution? The Dogears repair plate will give your cycle computer a new lease of life in just 5 minutes!

This plate acts as a second mounting bracket for your Garmin bike computer. If a mounting tab breaks, you can no longer use your bike computer. Dogears offers this quick and inexpensive solution. You simply need to file down the remaining notch to create a flat, rounded surface.
You can then position the Dogears on the bike computer (make sure it’s the right way round so the display is facing the correct direction). A test fit may be necessary if you are unsure. A little glue to hold the assembly in place using the two screws, and your Garmin bike computer is ready to use again. Simple, quick and effective!

This is an aluminium part that replaces or reinforces the small plastic fixings on a Garmin bike computer that have broken or become too worn, so that the device can once again be securely attached to its bike mount.
The plastic tabs used to secure the device to the mount are fragile and may crack or wear out over time, particularly if the device is frequently removed.
It is made of aluminium, which is more robust than the original plastic, ensuring a durable repair.
Position the Dogears repair plate on the back of the meter, carry out any necessary preparation (sanding/cleaning), then secure it with the screws provided and, if necessary, a little glue to ensure proper alignment and a secure fit.
These plates are designed for Garmin Edge models with standard “quarter-turn” mounts, such as the 500, 800, 1000, Explore or 130 series.
Many users find the aluminium plate more robust than the original plastic tabs, but careful installation is important for durability.
Some tutorials recommend adding glue (e.g. superglue) to hold the plate firmly in place before screwing, but this isn’t always necessary if the screws hold securely.

Great product to give a second life to the Garmin counter if the retaining fins have broken. Drilling must be done carefully and with caution by marking at 2 mm on the forest, but once that is done, the repair is very easy to do. (Translated review)
