Carbon frame Berria NAII X HM2X

The heart of the Naii X Pro is its setting NAII X Full Carbon HM2X, produced using a construction method Triple Monocoque.

The HM2X carbon frame uses Toray T700 and T800 fibres with an intermediate modulus, strategically positioned in different areas of the frame to strike a balance between stiffness and comfort.

The frame’s design also incorporates the technology Active Stay. This increases the vertical deflection of the suspension cables without compromising the rigidity required for power transfer and handling precision.

The frame also features built-in storage in the down tube and a bottom bracket shell T47, a derailleur hanger UDH and fully internal cable routing ICS2.

Active Stay and SOFTEX: two complementary functions

The Berria Naii X Pro uses two distinct technologies, which it is important not to confuse.

Technology Active Stay is an integral part of the frame’s design. It influences the vertical flex of the seat stays to improve the bike’s compliance on uneven surfaces whilst maintaining direct power transfer.

The SOFTEX is, for its part, integrated into the Avanforce Tibia UD carbon seatpost. This 27.2 mm seatpost is designed to help dampen vibrations and improve the rider’s comfort.

The Naii X frame Pro therefore does not have a SOFTEX travel range: Active Stay relates to the frame, whilst SOFTEX relates to the seat post.

Transmission Shimano GRX800 Di2 12-speed

This version of the Naii X Pro adopts an electronic transmission system Shimano GRX800 Di2, which is particularly well-suited to the demands of gravel cycling.

The group operates in 12 speeds and uses a configuration 48/31-tooth double chainring with a pedal set Shimano GRX FC-RX820-12.

The fork Berria NAII X Full Carbon is designed specifically for this frame and also features the ICS2 internal cable routing system.

It uses a conical pivot 1-1/8" – 1-1/2", an axis running through 12 x 100 mm and clearance to accommodate tyres up to 700 x 50C.

With a rake of 48 mm and a length of 395 mm, it contributes to the NAII X’s specific geometry and its handling on different terrains.
