Enve Melee V2 road bike with SRAM Red AXS 12-speed Enve, SES 4.5 Pro, Black

The ENVE Melee V2 combines two essential qualities for road racing: a low weight and sophisticated aerodynamics. This second-generation model has been developed with the rider in mind to optimise the bike’s performance in real-world conditions. The frame offers enhanced efficiency whilst retaining the responsiveness and precision that characterise the Melee, resulting in a bike that is equally at home during accelerations as it is on long, fast stretches.

In this configuration, the Melee V2 is fitted with the SRAM RED AXS 12-speed wireless electronic groupset, as well as a pair of ENVE SES 4.5 carbon wheels Pro. The whole package forms a decidedly high-end build, complemented by the SES Aero Pro V2 cockpit and ENVE SES aerodynamic bottle cages. With a claimed weight of just 6.8 kg in size 56, this build prioritises both responsiveness on climbs and efficiency as speed increases.

The pursuit of performance doesn’t stop at the frame: ENVE has refined every component of the bike to create a cohesive whole. The fork, seatpost, handlebars and bottle cages all contribute to the overall aerodynamic optimisation, whilst the SES 4.5 Pro wheels make their own contribution to the bike’s efficiency. Developed in part at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS wind tunnel in Silverstone, the Melee V2 thus adopts a holistic approach to performance, with handling designed to remain effective on both undulating routes and fast sections.
