Scott Addict Gravel 40 Carbon Black 2027 gravel bike

The Scott Addict Gravel 40 Carbon Black 2027 heralds a new generation of gravel bikes from Scott. Its HMF Carbon frame and matching fork feature a revised ‘Ride’ geometry: a slightly higher stack, extended reach, a 70° head angle and a lowered bottom bracket. The result? A comfortable and stable riding position on long rides, whilst retaining a pleasant responsiveness. With generous tyre clearance of up to 57 mm (standard tyres Schwalbe G-One RX Pro Evolution 700x50C), this bike handles everything from stony tracks to gentle singletrack with ease, whilst remaining compatible with larger tyres.

In terms of components, Scott has opted for a 12-speed GRX single-chainring drivetrain ( Shimano, 40-tooth chainring + 11-45 cassette) paired with BR-RX410 hydraulic brakes. Reliable, precise and well-suited to gravel riding, it offers a wide range of gear ratios for climbs and long, flat stretches. Syncros ’s Capital GR 25 AL II aluminium wheels, the Syncros groupset (handlebars, stem and SP-R101-CF carbon seatpost) and the Syncros Kildala saddle complete a cohesive, ride-ready package. Available in Carbon Black, this 2027 model is positioned as the most versatile entry-level carbon bike in the Addict Gravel range: high-performance, comfortable and robust enough for everyday adventures or longer rides.
