Shimano Ultegra PD-R8200 road bike pedals with Shimano CL-SL110 cleats

Shimano ’s Ultegra PD-R8200 road bike pedals feature the new SPD-SLR architecture, developed to improve the connection between the cyclist, the shoe and the bike. Their lightweight carbon body and stainless steel contact plate offer excellent stiffness and promote efficient power transfer, whilst the new interface allows for more intuitive engagement and a stable platform.

Designed for training, competition and long days in the saddle, the PD-R8200 pedals are engineered with stability and pedalling efficiency in mind. These pedals ensure faster engagement. The SPD-SLR system offers a wider clip-in area and a narrower clip-in angle (10.5°), compared to 15.5° for the SPD-SL, allowing cyclists to clip in more naturally and with confidence.

They are paired here with the yellow SPD-SLR CL-SL110 cleats, which offer 3 degrees of rotation on each side to maintain a good balance between support and freedom of movement, with a Low Stack design and alignment markers to make fitting easier.
