The Comete 55 Mavic s are a pair of carbon road wheels designed to offer a particularly successful balance between aerodynamics, lightness and responsiveness. With a 55 mm profile at both the front and rear, this set of wheels effectively maintains speed on fast sections whilst remaining sufficiently manoeuvrable when the road climbs or becomes more technical. A versatile configuration, designed to adapt to a wide range of route profiles.

The Aero Wide rims, with an internal width of 25 mm, are optimised for 30 mm tyres to enhance efficiency and control. The full-carbon construction utilises Adaptive Layup technology, which combines T700, T1000 and 3K fibres to balance stiffness, weight and dynamic behaviour. The lightweight, profiled unidirectional carbon spokes help minimise aerodynamic drag whilst offering direct power transfer and excellent precision during acceleration.

The aluminium hubs, fitted with Mavic Ceramic bearings and the 40-tooth Instant Drive 360 freehub system, complete this performance-oriented set-up. UST Tubeless Ready compatibility allows the use of tyres with a minimum width of 30 mm, enabling riders to take full advantage of the rim width.
