Expert wheels

The Zipp 303 S wheels are fast and comfortable. The carbon rim has a 45mm profile and an internal width of 23mm. As a result, you must use a tyre of at least 28mm. Furthermore, tubeless technology and Zipp tests show that with lower pressure (maximum 5 bar) you can save up to 10 watts at 40km/h. The tyre therefore offers better grip and consumes less energy. You also gain in comfort with better absorption of road bumps.

Zipp is also synonymous with aerodynamics, and the 303S is no exception to this rule. With a 45mm profile, they will perform well on all terrains. The 76/176 hubs deliver formidable performance. You’ll have the choice between an 11-speed Sram/Shimano drivetrain or Sram XDR. Disc brakes are another new feature. This provides greater stopping power but, above all, consistent braking in all weather conditions.

After advice from the salesperson, I took these wheels with a RL 12 speed 105 to put on my Canyon Grail mono GRX. It fits very well in assembly, I made no adjustments. Assembly with Conti GP5000 in 30 mm very easy. First ride with a lot of wind but it goes well. Good rigidity, super comfort (inflation 4 bars for 78kg). The wheels are splendid I went from a 28 profile in DT SWISS to 45 zipp and frankly the difference is quite noticeable... I mounted these wheels with pirelli TLR / V2 tires in 28 the combination is perfect I am really very very very happy and on top of that the wheels are guaranteed for life (Translated review)

I bought these wheels for my Scott Addict RC Pro and it's a whole change. I wasn't keen on buying wheels with a 28 tire requirement but from the first kilometers, it's impressive. The wheels are stiff while being comfortable as the second requirement is no pressure above 5 bars. More grip surface. No loss of efficiency. I love it. (Translated review)

These wheels have absolutely converted me, and definitively, to tubeless for the road. Be careful to mount a compatible tire (see the list on the ZIPP site) for the rest it's a delight. I run at 4.2 and 4.4 bars, it's not only comfortable but very effective. I was a bit skeptical when ZIPP released these wheels but I was convinced and it seems that their studies are correct: you gain in performance with a lower pressure. At these pressure levels, the sealant really has a chance to do its job and plug a hole. On the road, the wheels are dynamic and stable in crosswinds. The 45mm profile is ultra versatile. Lifetime warranty by ZIPP, I see no competitor in this price range (the Roval C38 are 200€ more expensive). As usual, great service from the store in Gleizé. Only downside, the disc lock nut requires a bottom bracket tool. (Translated review)
