The Comete 45 Mavic s are a pair of carbon road wheels designed to prioritise lightness, responsiveness and handling precision. With its 45 mm profile, it offers an excellent balance between aerodynamics and agility, making it particularly well-suited to undulating routes, steep climbs and winding roads where changes in pace are frequent.

Its Aero Wide rim, with an internal width of 25 mm, is optimised for 30 mm tyres to maximise both efficiency and control. The full-carbon construction utilises Adaptive Layup technology, which combines T700, T1000 and 3K fibres to balance stiffness, weight and comfort. The lightweight, profiled unidirectional carbon spokes enhance lateral stiffness whilst minimising aerodynamic drag and deliver a particularly direct acceleration feel.

The aluminium hubs, featuring Mavic Ceramic bearings and a 40-tooth Instant Drive 360 freehub system, complete this performance-oriented design. UST-compatible Tubeless Ready, the Comete 45 accommodates tyres of at least 30 mm. Lighter and more agile than the deeper-profile Comete models, they are aimed at cyclists who regularly tackle steep gradients and are looking for wheels that remain responsive on technical sections.
