The Miche Pistard Air crankset is designed for the velodrome: 725 grams in CNC forged alloy, a 144 BCD with 4 holes, and a range of chainrings from 44 to 70 teeth that covers all track profiles, from sprinters to long-distance riders. A serious crankset at the right price.

The Miche Pistard Air is the Italian brand’s flagship track crankset. Made from forged alloy and CNC-machined, it combines structural rigidity with a high-quality finish to meet the demands of competitive and training track cycling. Weighing 725 grams (excluding the bottom bracket shell, with a 44-tooth chainring and 165 mm cranks), it offers an excellent weight-to-strength ratio for use on the velodrome.
The 24 mm special steel axle ensures direct, flex-free power transfer, which is essential on the track where every watt counts. The 42.5 mm chainline ensures an optimal chainline on track bikes, whilst the 138 mm Q-Factor remains within competition standards. The 144 BCD system with four equidistant holes is the Miche track standard. It offers access to an extremely wide range of chainrings, from 44 to 70 teeth, covering sprint events as well as endurance races and the kilometre.
The cranks are available in 5 lengths: 165, 167.5, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm. The Miche Pistard Air is available in black. It comes with a user manual. The bottom bracket is not included.

Pedalling: Single-chainring, single-speed crankset — designed for use with a standard 1/8" track chain.
No, the bottom bracket is not supplied with the Miche Pistard Air. It must be purchased separately depending on your frame standard (BSA, BB86, BB30, etc.). The 24 mm axle is compatible with several standards via an adapter.
The Miche Pistard Air is available in 5 crank lengths: 165 mm, 167.5 mm, 170 mm, 172.5 mm and 175 mm. The choice depends on your body type (femur length) and your track cycling style.
The Miche Pistard Air uses a 144 mm BCD with 4 equidistant holes, the Miche track standard. It is compatible with all chainrings of this standard, ranging from 44 to 70 teeth depending on the version. This is one of the widest ranges on the market, suitable for both sprinting and endurance track cycling.
The Miche Pistard Air is designed for the velodrome and competition track bikes. Its use on an urban fixie is technically possible if your frame has a compatible bottom bracket and accepts a 1/8" chain, but this crankset is primarily optimised for track competition.
The Miche Pistard Air weighs 725 grams, excluding the bottom bracket, for the 44-tooth chainring and 165 mm crankset configuration. This weight will vary slightly depending on the crankset length and chainring chosen.
