The Cyclite Top Tube Bag Large / 02 is the largest top tube bag in the Cyclite range. With a capacity of 2.2 litres, it is designed for cyclists who ride for long periods, particularly on ultra-distance rides, and who want quick access to their supplies, electronic devices and small accessories without ever having to stop. Its tapered shape at the rear prevents any contact with the thighs whilst pedalling, even on bikes with a compact geometry.

It features a dual-opening design: a large front compartment secured by a magnetic flap for one-handed access to what you need, and a rear compartment closed by a waterproof zip, ideal for protecting items you don’t need as frequently. A removable Velcro divider allows you to create one or two storage compartments depending on your preference. The bag also features an internal zipped pocket and a covered cable or hose route (Di2, hydraulic brake hose, etc.).

The Top Tube Bag Large / 02 is made from LiteGrid-RN200T3, a Cyclite-developed fabric combining two layers of recycled nylon (200D recycled PA/N6.6) using a ripstop weaving technique, coated on both sides and high-frequency welded. The result is an ultra-lightweight, weather-resistant and easy-to-clean material. It is secured using replaceable and extendable Velcro straps, now compatible with integrated handlebars, or directly by bolting onto the top tube thanks to its bolt-on compatibility (2 M5 x 12 screws with O-rings supplied).

Compatibility guide:

The Cyclite Top Tube Bag Large / 02 requires a minimum distance of 44 cm between the head tube and the seat post to be fitted correctly.

It is compatible with all Cyclite frame bags (FRAME BAG) as well as the vast majority of bags from other manufacturers, as the position of the mounting straps is adjustable.

Thanks to the redesign of the front straps (now extendable), the bag is compatible with integrated handlebars.

The bag is bolt-on ready: it can be screwed directly onto the top tube of frames fitted with threaded inserts, using the 2 M5 x 12 screws provided.

1. What is the difference between the Top Tube Bag Large / 02 and the Top Tube Bag / 03?

The Top Tube Bag Large / 02 is the high-capacity version: 2.2 L compared to a smaller volume for the / 03. It also features a removable internal divider to create two separate compartments, and a rear compartment with a waterproof zip, separate from the front compartment with a magnetic flap. The /03 remains the choice for more compact set-ups.

2. Is the bag compatible with my integrated cockpit?

Yes. The /02 version features a replaceable and extendable front strap, specifically designed to fit integrated cockpits which do not always leave standard space for the straps to pass through. If in doubt, check that you have at least 44 cm between the head tube and the seat post.

3. Can I bolt the bag directly onto the frame?

Yes, provided your top tube is fitted with threaded inserts. The Top Tube Bag Large / 02 is bolt-on ready: 2 M5 x 12 bolts with O-rings and a protective film for the frame are included in the delivery for a clean and secure installation.

4. Is the bag waterproof?

It is weather-resistant thanks to the double-sided coated LiteGrid-RN200T3 fabric. The rear compartment is secured by a waterproof zip. The front compartment, with a magnetic flap, offers protection against normal rain but is not designed for total immersion. For extreme conditions, a waterproof inner bag is recommended for sensitive items.
