The bag’s durability and waterproofing are based on the proprietary LiteGrid-RN200T3 material (200D recycled PA/N6.6 R/S TPU/PU3): two layers of nylon joined using a ripstop weaving technique, coated on both sides and high-frequency welded. The result is an ultra-lightweight, weather-resistant fabric that is easy to clean, complemented by elements made from Hypalon, POM, PP webbing and a waterproof double-slider zip. A covered opening at the back allows a cable or hydration tube to pass through, whilst two mesh side pockets complete the organisation.

The Cyclite Handle Bar Aero Bag 02 is designed to be attached beneath aero bars, on any road or triathlon bike handlebar fitted with extensions. It can be mounted on its own or combined with the Handle Bar Roll Bag positioned behind it, to significantly increase the total handlebar carrying capacity.

1. Is the Cyclite Handle Bar Aero Bag 02 truly waterproof?

The bag is weather-resistant thanks to the double-sided coated LiteGrid-RN200T3 fabric, high-frequency welding and a double-slider waterproof zip running all the way round. It is designed to withstand rain whilst riding. For complete submersion or prolonged heavy rain, we recommend using additional inner storage bags.

2. What type of handlebars can this bag be fitted to?

The Handle Bar Aero Bag 02 is optimised for mounting under aero bars, whether on a standard road handlebar with extensions or on a triathlon handlebar. It can be fitted to the vast majority of set-ups thanks to the included adjustable straps (4 straps of different lengths).

3. Can a water bladder be carried in this bag?

Yes. The Cyclite Handle Bar Aero Bag 02 is compatible with theAero Bladder 02. A covered opening at the rear of the bag allows a hydration tube to pass through to the cyclist.

The difference in weight (49 g) corresponds to the optional inner wall reinforcement supplied with the bag. This reinforcement stiffens the bag’s structure and allows it to retain its optimal aerodynamic shape when lightly loaded. For lighter rides, it can be removed to save weight.
