Fulcrum Sharq carbon road bike wheels

Designed in Italy and manufactured in Europe, the Fulcrum Sharq wheels are the result of a research and development process that took over 4,000 hours from design to field testing. Suffice to say that these new wheels are packed with features, offering the aerodynamics and responsiveness of road wheels whilst providing the durability of gravel wheels.

Versatile, these wheels embody both innovation and tradition, featuring specific technologies to guarantee top-level performance. The new 2-Wave Rim design, developed through an experimental process involving various wind conditions, results in a symmetrical wave from the nose to an asymmetrical wave on the sides. This results in a profile height varying between 42 and 47 mm from the lowest to the highest point of the wave. A new design that strikes a balance between manoeuvrability and responsiveness.

Manufactured using FF100 carbon fibres and resins, these wheels are lightweight (1440 grams) as well as responsive. The flat A3RO stainless steel spokes offer considerable aerodynamic benefits. As they never touch one another, tension is maintained over time to ensure the same level of performance in the long term. These Fulcrum Sharq wheels also feature Cup & Cone technology, with cup-and-cone bearings fitted with USB ceramic balls for maximum smoothness on all terrains.
