Continental TPU 28" 700x25/35 bicycle inner tube

Always striving to stay ahead of the curve, Continental has developed its TPU inner tube. Available in a wide range of road and gravel tyre sizes, from 25 to 35 mm, it promises light weight and durability. Deployed in seven sealed layers, the micrometric-thick TPU serves to maximise airtightness. The inner tube is colourless in order to offer high-quality materials and thus avoid air retention problems caused by surface imperfections associated with dyeing.Subject to post-production quality control, each Continental TPU inner tube features a conical valve stem to improve the fit to the rim and limit unwanted movement. The valve is internally threaded so that a valve extension or replacement valve core can be used if necessary. Easy to carry, this inner tube comes with a repair kit.

Recommendations for use:

This Continental TPU inner tube should not be used with rim brakes, as excessive exposure to heat can damage the materials. A suitable rim tape must be used to prevent damage to the TPU tube.

When fitting, the inner tube must not be inflated to more than 0.3 bar, as excessive inflation at the outset can stretch the tube and render it unusable.

Care must also be taken to ensure that the valve hole in the rim is the correct diameter. Finally, please note that this Continental TPU inner tube cannot be reused with a smaller tyre. If you are fitting a different size tyre, it is advisable to use a new inner tube as a precaution.
