If you have a Bryton bike computer and want to mount it on your favourite off-set mount, which features a Garmin-compatible quarter-turn mechanism, this is now possible with the Bryton Rider Series S. Thanks to this conversion kit, say goodbye to wobbly installations!
With this adapter, you can securely attach your Bryton bike computer to your mount. It’s easy to install, requiring just four standard screws to replace the base mount fitted to the back of your bike computer. Once fitted, simply clip your Bryton onto the mount and head out for a ride.
- Compatible bike computers: Garmin-style mounting bracket, for Bryton Rider S800 and S500 models only
- Product dimensions: 33 x 8.7 mm
- Weight: 5 grams
This kit allows you to convert the rear mount of your Bryton Rider S Series cycle computer (models such as the S500, S800, S510, etc.) into a Garmin-compatible system. This means you can use any Garmin mount (stem mount, handlebar mount, etc.) already fitted to your bike, without having to buy a new, specific Bryton mount.
The kit is designed exclusively for the Bryton Rider S series, specifically: Rider S500 / S500T, Rider S800 / S800T, Rider S510…
Installation is very quick (less than 2 minutes): Remove the 4 screws from the back of your Bryton Rider S bike computer (small Phillips screwdriver required, not supplied). Remove the original Bryton mounting plate. Fit the new conversion kit plate (Garmin-compatible). Screw the 4 screws back in (tighten gently so as not to damage the thread). Clip your bike computer onto any Garmin quarter-turn mount. The whole process is reversible: you can refit the original Bryton plate if needed.
1 Garmin quarter-turn compatible rear mount adapter plate, 4 fixing screws (often included, confirmed for many models). No special tools required apart from a small Phillips screwdriver.
Cost-effective: reuse your existing Garmin mounts (out-front, stem-mounted, etc.). Versatile: compatible with thousands of aftermarket mounts (K-Edge, Barfly, etc.) in the Garmin format. Handy for switching between multiple bike computers or accessories (lights, etc.) on the same mount.
Yes, the locking mechanism is designed to be sturdy and precise (no play, no wobble). The plate is designed to fit the quarter-turn system exactly, avoiding the partial compatibility issues that can arise without the kit.
No, this kit is specific to the Bryton Rider S series. It only replaces the rear plate on compatible Bryton models. It is not universal nor backwards compatible with other brands.
