The Shimano BR8100 caliper features SLR-EV dual-pivot technology in addition to its Direct Mount attachment. You get formidable braking power and stability. Direct Mount technology is characterised by direct attachment to the frame’s seatstay via two bolts. The caliper is therefore integrated with the frame, delivering greater power. Shimano claims a 36% increase in performance compared to the previous generation of brakes.
