The Shimano BR8100 caliper features SLR-EV dual pivot technology in addition to its Direct Mount attachment. You get powerful and stable braking with formidable efficiency. Direct Mount technology is characterised by direct attachment to the frame stay with two bolts. The caliper is then integrated with the frame and offers more power. Shimano claims a 36% increase in performance compared to the previous generation of brakes.Technical specifications- Symmetrical double pivot - Spring tension adjuster - R55C4 brake pads - Compatible with 28 mm tyres - Shimano reference: IBRR8110RS82- Can only be fitted to rear stays (behind the seat post)
