The Shimano caliper incorporates the latest braking technologies from the leading bicycle equipment manufacturer. It features SLR-EV technology with a symmetrical dual pivot. This increases braking power and efficiency by approximately 36% compared to the previous generation of Shimano brakes. The shape of the caliper and its dimensions allow for the use of tyres up to 28mm wide. It retains a smoothness, power and precision rarely achieved in this Ultegra range.
