Milkit tubeless rim tape conversion kit 29 mm

The Milkit tubeless conversion kit comes in the form of a roll of adhesive tape, 25 mm wide and 10 metres long, which is quick and easy to install. It allows you to convert multiple wheels regardless of their diameter. Its robust and reliable design guarantees a completely airtight solution, with sufficient flexibility to conform to the shape of the rim and facilitate installation.

For optimal sealing, the rim tape must cover the spoke head holes and the entire width of the rim right up to the sidewalls. A 29 mm wide rim tape is therefore compatible with rims with an internal width of 25 to 28 mm, depending on their shape.

Installation steps:

1 - Clean the rim thoroughly and ensure it is dry
2 - Fit the rim tape by pulling it firmly into the rim. It must be airtight: ensure there are no gaps or trapped air underneath
3 - Ensure it overlaps by at least 10 cm above the valve hole; it is better to have a longer overlap than a shorter one (Use two layers for high-pressure wheels, above 8 bar)
4 - Cut the rim tape at a 45° angle for optimal grip and flexibility
5- Fit the milKit tubeless valves into the rim: simply drill a small hole in the rim base and push the valve through the rim base
