At Trek, you can use whatever cockpit you want. The Trek Madone SLR comes standard with a specific stem (with an angle and shape specific to the headset), but you can also use a traditional stem. This is also found on a Madone SL version. This kit consists of a low cover, spacers and a high cover. The rest remains unchanged.
