The Fizik R4 Tempo Overcurve features an asymmetrical design that maximises comfort and pedalling efficiency. The BOA IP1 technology and the thread that extends to the front of the foot provide a powerful and uniform fit. The sole is specific to this model and contains 15% carbon. The result is an excellent balance between stiffness and comfort. The shape and space left around the ankle are also factors that will draw you to this model. No pressure points, total freedom and range of motion when pedalling.

The mesh material used keeps the shoe very light but still durable. Weighing in at 460 grams, these shoes are in the featherweight category.

As always with Fizik, the manufacturing quality is exemplary, and the fit is consistent with a street shoe size.
