The lacing system is particularly advanced, extending to the tip of the foot. It is perfectly possible to adjust the tightness even while riding, which is often necessary in the summer heat.The heel acts as a reinforced shell (Sidi Heel Cup) to ensure perfect stability even during intense effort. With the Adjustable Heel Retention Device technology, you can adjust the heel support to prevent it from moving when sprinting or climbing steep gradients. This means there is no loss of energy while maintaining comfort. The Soft Instep 4 closure system features a wide curved tongue that respects the anatomy of your foot. It is designed to be comfortable with its specific EVA coating to achieve uniform pressure on the instep. Like many parts, it can be replaced if necessary. The carbon sole is specific to the Speedplay footprint. It is rigid and designed to accommodate the cleat directly.
