Who would have thought it possible to cycle in such comfortable shoes? Certainly not James Watt, the engineer who gave his name to this measure of power so highly prized by cyclists. And yet, these Bontrager XXX RD shoes will offer you a remarkable power gain thanks to an ultra-stiff sole made entirely from premium OCVL carbon, a manufacturing process patented by Trek. Added to this is the highly acclaimed BOA closure system which, thanks to the two dials and the use of premium Form TX laces, provides ultra-precise support and adjustment for the foot within the shoe.

At the rear, a rigid heel counter ensures good heel stability in all conditions. The shoe is also highly breathable thanks to its laser-perforated upper and sides, which effectively ventilate the cyclist’s feet. A product that clearly exudes technical sophistication, comfort and performance!

Purchase to replace the old model. Slipper still comfortable. Disappearance of the breathable ventilation mesh (fragile) located between the tongue and the front toe. Replaced by a faux leather area that seems a bit less ventilated but more resistant than the initial mesh. (Translated review)

I've been looking for a comfortable shoe for a long time because I have flat and wide feet. After trying this shoe at a bike shop; I immediately appreciated its great comfort but much less its price: 330 euros. So I was patient and it paid off because I got a 33% discount then 20% for a more affordable final price: 176 euros. It's an investment but I regret nothing, quite the opposite, I highly recommend this shoe to those with wide feet.
