The alloy of the internal screw is too soft! After slipping once, the Allen imprint became completely rounded and the expander got stuck in the pivot! I had to extract it with pliers... (Translated review)

With my old expander, I couldn't 'compress' the steering enough, probably a bit too light! With this model, no problem, it doesn't move. Compared to Pierre-Yves's review, you do need to be careful when slightly widening the expander before sliding it into the fork. However, I don't understand why he couldn't use it, you just need to place it a bit lower in the fork. Once the stem is tightened, I put the old expander back: a few grams saved (sturdy, but not light, of course!). (Translated review)

This expander is not made to fix the stem all the way up the steerer. There is at least 1 cm between the top of the expander and the cap! Moreover, when tightening the expander in the steerer, there is a 9 out of 10 chance that the expander's axis is not parallel to the axis of the steerer. (Translated review)

Quite a long product that allows for good stem support. Two-part screwing, first piece to screw into the stem tube and second piece to hold the handlebar. This is much better than systems with a single screw to do both. (Translated review)
