The RT-MT800 disc is constructed with 3 layers (1 aluminium layer between 2 stainless steel layers) to improve heat dissipation. The design has been optimised to effectively clear mud and ensure optimal braking performance in all riding conditions.
The durability and quality of the RT-M800 disc make it the benchmark disc for road and MTB racing. The MT800 series corresponds to the Ultegra and Deore XT ranges.
We recommend fitting 140mm discs at the front and rear for maximum weight savings and/or 160mm front and rear for optimal braking, or 160mm at the front and 140mm at the rear for a balance of lightness and efficiency.
