The 2 Garmin cadence sensor measures your pedalling frequency. This enables you to improve your performance depending on the route and terrain. It attaches directly to the crank arm. This new generation no longer requires a magnet. It is also ANT+ and Bluetooth compatible. You can therefore pair it with your cycle computer or a tablet/mobile phone if using a third-party app.

The difference from the previous version lies in the ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows it to pair with the vast majority of cycle computers and mobile phones/tablets.
