The Mavic Aksium C17 road bike front wheel is an excellent model for beginners to road cycling or for everyday use. Its S6000 aluminium alloy rim gives it exemplary strength, as do the steel spokes. The spokes are radially laced to optimise lateral rigidity and steering precision. The sealed QRM bearings are highly resistant to the elements and dust, and guarantee optimum fluidity over the kilometres. This wheel is also designed to take wide tyres of up to 32 mm. A definite advantage when it comes to comfort, especially on rough roads.
