A variant of the external bottom bracket, PressFit reduces the overall weight by 40 grams and offers simplified installation by allowing you to press the bearing cups into the frame instead of threading them on. No changes are made to the crankset; the length and diameter of the axle remain the same (24 mm GXP axle).
