The R-EV1 Thermo Shield long-leg cycling shorts are part of the ‘ Race-Evolution’ range fromAlé Cycling, designed for a racing fit where textile innovation, materials and advanced cut-outs combine to create a high-performance technical garment. Designed to tackle winter and extreme cold, these long cycling tights meet the needs of cyclists riding in demanding conditions, with targeted protection for areas exposed to wind and water.

The front and rear leg panels feature a three-layer construction with a Windtex Pro membrane, ensuring full windproof protection and waterproof performance, enhanced by a DWR (durable water-repellent) treatment that repels rain and road spray. Less exposed areas are treated with B-Hot Thermo Dry, a high-performance insulating fabric that generates heat through movement whilst remaining breathable and stretchy, to maintain a stable body temperature throughout the ride.

The advanced anatomical cut, developed following several years of testing and feedback from cyclists, offers stable and secure support, with no creases, excess fabric or unnecessary features, for optimum comfort over long distances.
