Very good quality shorts take one size up from yours as they run small. (Translated review)
Very good shorts, size just take one size up (L for me instead of M usually) and very comfortable for long rides. (Translated review)
Used on two rides this October. It's still nice, with 14 degrees in the sun but in the valley bottoms, we are well below ten degrees in the Vosges du Nord. It's precisely in these bottoms that I didn't feel warm with these tights which are rated from 0 to 12! Very skeptical if we go down towards zero.... As for comfort, quite average. Second Castelli tights with this pad, really average. So expensive for what it is in the end. I almost only wear Castelli and I find that the brand is declining in quality, but doesn't forget to raise its prices.... (Translated review)
I switched from Assos (returned product) to Castelli, on the sorpasso model the seams at the knee do not bother me unlike the Assos tights. Additionally, there is a water-repellent property on the thighs and below the knees, practical when the first Assos water-repellent model is twice as expensive and overpriced. The zippers allow for easy passage of the socks underneath, I don't feel them. The downside is the chamois/insert, less comfortable than on the Assos, which is really a shame. It doesn't rise enough at the front so we have a part of the p**** in direct contact with the fabric! There is no seamless chamois system underneath that allows the insert to move on the tights, avoiding friction with the skin. So after a few hours on the saddle, pain appears. There should be a Castelli model with the straps and insert from Assos... In terms of warmth, it's perfect, usable even when it's a bit warm and temperatures are going to drop afterwards. I didn't feel the cold and/or too much heat. (Translated review)
Perfect for winter and comfortable (Translated review)
Excellent protection against the cold, but for me, a slight feeling of coolness at the top of the thighs as soon as the temperature reaches 5°C. One size up from the recommended minimum as it is well fitted. Impeccable chamois. (Translated review)
good shorts, comfortable for winter and early spring ,, (Translated review)
I bought this bib shorts in size S which is a bit tight on me, but I decided to keep it. For those who prefer not to be too tight, I indeed recommend taking one size up from what you usually take! For info, I am 1.67m tall and weigh 63 kilos, and size L is the one to take to be really comfortable in your bib shorts. Very good quality Castelli; (Translated review)
Excellent quality product, very well finished, very warm in winter and water-repellent. For sizes, it's Castelli, you need to think about getting one size up, I am 1.83 m tall and weigh 68 KG, I took an XL. Since I had a doubt, I called the bike equipment for advice, which I followed and I am very satisfied. (Translated review)
