Berria Naii X Pro GRX800 Di2 2027: a sporty and versatile carbon gravel bike

The Berria Naii X Pro GRX800 Di2 2027 is a top-of-the-range carbon gravel bike designed for cyclists looking for performance, comfort and versatility. Its frame NAII X in HM2X carbon, its electronic transmission Shimano GRX800 Di2 12-speed, its carbon wheels Vision TC45 and its integrated cockpit Avanforce Airone GR form a modern and high-performance system.

This version Dark Grey combines a understated and elegant finish with a decidedly sporty design. Thanks to its ability to accommodate tyres up to 700 x 50C, the Naii X Pro can handle fast trails, snow-covered tracks and rougher gravel terrain.

Its design is intended to maintain dynamic handling whilst offering greater shock absorption when the road surface becomes uneven. The result is a particularly versatile gravel tyre, equally at home over long distances as it is on routes where the pace remains steady.

An HM2X carbon frame featuring Active Stay technology

The Berria Naii X Pro is based on a framework NAII X Full Carbon HM2X, manufactured using a construction method Triple Monocoque.

HM2X carbon combines Toray T700 and T800 fibres with intermediate modulus, strategically used in different areas of the frame. This construction is designed to strike a balance between stiffness, comfort and dynamic performance.

The manager benefits from the technology Active Stay, which increases the vertical flex of the seat stays without compromising the stiffness required for power transfer. This design enhances the bike’s traction and compliance when the terrain becomes more uneven.

The NAII X also features a storage space built into the down tube, a bottom bracket T47, a derailleur standard UDH and the fully internal cable routing system ICS2.

Active Stay and SOFTEX: two different technologies

It is important to distinguish between the two technologies used in the Naii X Pro.

TheActive Stay is part of the frame’s design. It affects the vertical flex of the seat stays to improve the bike’s ability to follow the contours of the terrain.

The SOFTEX, on the other hand, is integrated into the Avanforce Tibia UD carbon seatpost. This 27.2 mm seatpost is designed to help dampen vibrations at the point of contact with the rider.

The Naii X frame Pro therefore does not have ‘SOFTEX travel’. Active Stay refers to the frame and SOFTEX to the seatpost.

Transmission Shimano GRX800 Di2 12-speed

This version of the Berria Naii X Pro adopts the electronic group Shimano GRX800 Di2, specifically designed for gravel riding.

The transmission operates in 12 speeds with a pedal set Shimano GRX FC-RX820-12 fitted with two trays made of 48/31 teeth.

At the back, the cassette Shimano CS-R8100 11–34 teeth offers a range of gear ratios suited to versatile gravel riding.

A double chainring is a good choice for routes that alternate between long, fast sections, roads and climbs. It provides a progressive gear range whilst retaining a small 31-tooth chainring for steeper sections.

Orders Shimano GRX ST-RX825 Di2, the front derailleur FD-RX825 and the rear derailleur RD-RX825 control the electronic gear changes.

Hydraulic braking Shimano GRX

Braking is provided by the Shimano GRX BR-RX820 with hydraulic discs.

Designed for gravel riding, this system offers smooth and precise braking, allowing you to control the bike effectively on a variety of surfaces.

The frame uses a mounting system Flat Mount, with a stated clearance of up to 140 mm at the rear and 160 mm at the front, depending on the configuration.

Carbon wheels Vision TC45

The assembly is completed by the Vision TC45 Carbon.

These wheels feature a carbon rim measuring 45 mm high and have an internal width of 23 mm. They are Tubeless Ready and use a disc clamp Centre Lock.

The 45 mm rim profile gives the bike a sporty feel and is particularly well suited to fast sections. The 23 mm internal width provides a suitable base for modern gravel tyres.

Avanforce Airone GR integrated cockpit

The cockpit receives the Avanforce Airone GR Integrated Gravel Carbon.

This integrated carbon cockpit uses the system ICS2 Full Internal Cable System, allowing the cables to be routed through the handlebars and the head tube to the frame.

This design gives the Naii X Pro a particularly sleek front panel that also protects the cables from external damage.

The cockpit is also fitted with a compatible mount GPS and GoPro, handy for long rides and cycling tours.

Carbon fork and 700 x 50C compatibility

The fork NAII X Full Carbon follows the ICS2 cable integration principle.

It has a conical pivot 1-1/8" – 1-1/2", with a through-hole of 12 x 100 mm and clearance allowing tyres of up to 700 x 50C.

This air suspension system allows the bike’s handling to be adjusted to suit the terrain and the rider’s preferences.

A gravel bike designed for a variety of terrains

With its 50 mm clearance, Active Stay frame and SOFTEX seatpost, the Berria Naii X Pro can be configured for different uses.

A narrower tyre may offer better performance on fast stretches and on-road sections, whilst a wider tyre will provide greater comfort, grip and control on rougher terrain.

The transmission Shimano The GRX800 Di2 double chainring further enhances this versatility by offering a wide range of gear ratios.

The Berria Naii X Pro The 2027 model features a number of technical choices designed to improve the bike’s integration and finish: internal cable routing ICS2, integrated carbon cockpit, storage in the down tube, oversized headset O2HS and bolted bottom bracket T47.

The frame also uses through-axles of 12 x 100 mm at the front and 12 x 142 mm at the rear, as well as a compatible derailleur hanger UDH.
