Scott Speedster Gravel 40 Ash Green 2027 gravel bike

The Scott Speedster Gravel 40 is a gravel bike designed for those who want to venture off the perfectly tarmac-surfaced roads without sacrificing the pleasure of riding fast. Its variable-thickness 6061 aluminium frame offers a good balance between strength, comfort and responsiveness, whilst the ‘ Scott ’ Ride geometry prioritises a confident and versatile riding position. The carbon fork, meanwhile, provides greater shock absorption on trails and greater precision on more technical sections.

With its Shimano Cues 1x10-speed drivetrain, 40-tooth chainring and 11–48 cassette, the Speedster Gravel 40 has a gear range wide enough to tackle both long, rolling stretches and steeper climbs. The 45 mm Schwalbe G-One RX tyres enhance this versatility by providing grip, comfort and stability on trails, whilst the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure powerful and controlled braking whatever the conditions.

Designed for adventure, this Speedster Gravel 40 also features a frame ready to accommodate a mudguard set, making it easy to adapt for winter rides or everyday commutes. With its Syncros Race X25 wheels and well-balanced spec, it’s an excellent entry-level bike into the world of gravel cycling, allowing you to enjoy everything from small country roads to dirt tracks and fast-riding trails.
