Since the introduction of clipless pedals over 40 years ago, there had been no real innovation in the world of cycling when it came to pedals. With this PW8 system, which features a revolutionary pedal/shoe design, your pedalling will be more efficient, lighter, more aerodynamic and more stylish. Developed over a period of more than four years and used by the professional riders of the Nice Métropole Côte d’Azur team, these shoes provide a 8 mm lower contact point. Thanks to a contact point as close as possible to the axle, power transfer is immediate. The contact surface is also wider (1,500 mm² compared to 705 mm² for more conventional pedals) to provide optimum stability and excellent efficiency.

These pedals offer 5 angular settings (0°, 1.5°, 3°, 6°, 9°), allowing every cyclist to maintain the best pedalling alignment for improved performance and comfort. The pedal and cleat set weighs 225 grams in total, making it one of the lightest systems on the market. This version features a Chromoly axle, designed to be strong and high-performing.

Adjustment tips: 

How do you position the front cleat? Identify the position of your metatarsal (big toe joint). Stick a piece of sticky tape to the inside of the shoe, at the position of the first metatarsal. Make a small mark with a pencil on the tape to indicate this position. Transfer this mark onto the insole of the shoe. Locate the corresponding graduation mark on the insole. Position the front cleat by aligning its markings with the same graduation mark. Tighten the cleat to the recommended torque: 3 Nm.
