The Sram DB4 brakes feature the same architecture as the DB8 and use mineral oil, which ensures greater reliability and less maintenance than brakes using DOT 5.1 fluid.

In practice, these brakes offer excellent value for money and are designed for all-mountain, trail and e-MTB use.

Note that the DB4 version offers the same braking performance as the DB6 version; the difference between these two models lies in the clamp. The DB4 brakes feature a standard clamp, whilst the DB6 features a clamp compatible with Sram MMX levers.
