Hutchinson Blackbird Race Tubeless Ready road bike tyre

Hutchinson has decided to expand its Blackbird range with the Race tyre, which reduces rolling resistance compared to the previous model whilst weighing just 240 grams. Handcrafted in France, this tyre embodies all of Hutchinson’s industrial excellence and expertise. It was developed in collaboration with Biniam Girmay’s WorldTour Intermarché-Wanty team and British triathlete Alex Yee, winner of the Paris Olympics.

Building on the DNA of the classic Blackbird but refined for greater lightness and speed, this tyre is one of the most advanced on the market. The new Ultraswift casing features three layers of 127 TPI on the sidewalls and two in the centre to improve flexibility and reduce rolling resistance. The Mach Tread Ultimate compound also guarantees exceptional grip, a smooth ride feel and a sense of increased speed, making this Hutchinson Blackbird Race Tubeless Ready the perfect tyre for all your competitions.
