In recent years, gravel racing has become both harder and faster, which has inevitably led to new demands in terms of performance. To meet these demands, Ridley has launched its Astr RS, a bike that combines lightness and aerodynamics.

Its frame is made from carbon fibre from Toray, the world's leading manufacturer, to provide a bike that is rigid in some areas and more comfortable in others. Weighing in at just 890 grams, the frame features a modern, competitive geometry (longer wheelbase, narrower steering angle, deeper BB), with tubes optimised for aerology and a diffuser fork for better air penetration. The frame also offers tyre clearance of up to 52 mm on a single chainring (47 mm on a double chainring) to suit all riding styles.

In addition, this Ridley Astr RS GRC1600 ARS01As is fitted with a Shimano GRX Di2 groupset, which ensures fast, precise gear changes, as well as high-performance disc braking in all conditions, even in mud and rain. Finally, the DT Swiss GRC1600 wheels, fitted with Vittoria Terreno Dry TLR 700x47c, offer good performance on all types of terrain.
