Technical expert
Developed by Look’s technical teams and tested over three years by professional riders in the world’s biggest races, such as the Tour de France, the new Look Keo Blade pedals are little gems. Designed in France, these Look Keo Blade 08 New pedals offer, first and foremost, an excellent weight-to-power-transfer ratio.
These pedals are very lightweight, weighing just 230 grams for this basic version, thanks to the Tension Blade 8. Unlike traditional springs, this technology makes clipping in and out a breeze, especially as the pedal’s tilt has been improved through better weight distribution. Once clipped in, these pedals provide firm and secure support without any unwanted movement.
The design of these new pedals has also been redesigned to reduce aerodynamic drag by 2% compared to the previous version. These Look Keo Blade 08 New pedals also offer a larger contact surface (705 mm) to ensure even distribution of pressure under the foot. This contact surface is made from stainless steel to guarantee high strength, even for the most powerful cyclists.
In addition to all this, these Look Keo Blade 08 New pedals offer improved durability and greater reliability thanks to the new reinforced body design and the new axle assembly, featuring double-sealed ball bearings. In this classic version, the pedal axle is made of Chromo+ whilst the bearing is made of steel.
